MISSION AND OUTREACH
As part of the five purposes of our church we believe very strongly to reach out to our local community and beyond.
God created us for a Mission.
Jesus send us, in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20), to reach the ends of the earth.
We are called to reach out to our community and beyond, to the whole world.
St Andrew's are involved in several endeavours to reach the world for Jesus Christ. Here are some of it:
- Operation Christmas Child
- Angel Tree
- Youth for Christ
- Through Presbyterian Sharing in all the many missions of the National Church.
- Short term outreaches to Nicaragua with Threefold Ministries
- Women's Missionary Society
- Community Dinner: Local outreach to the hungry people of our community.
- Supporting our local Foodbank.
- Supporting The New Life Girls Home.
